Upon the invitation of Digital Forensic Research Lab, Atlantic Council, Maria Avdeeva participated in one of the largest data events of the year – DataFestTbilisi2019 (Tbilisi, Georgia), annual international data festival in Eastern Europe and Central Asia on data, communications, technology. This was made possible by the DFRLab Digital Sherlocks Scholarship.

More than 600 participants from all over the world received up-to-date knowledge and experience from leading experts on data analysis, information security, open-source methods to investigate disinformation, the role of algorithms in social networks.
