International Autumn School Resilience League 2019

International Autumn School Resilience League 2019 Cognitive Resilience against Hostile Disinformation, Societal Polarisation and Harmful Radicalisation was held in Estonia, November 3-8. The purpose of the School is to strengthen national resilience and increase counteraction to hybrid threats.

School united professionals from Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, as well as leading international speakers. In particular, James Sherr, Nikita Poturaev, Lydiya Smola, Andriy Zagorodsky, Sergey Danilov, Oleh Pokalchuk and many others.

The official part of the School, with the participation of Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia H.E. Mariana Betsa, Ambassador of Germany to Estonia H.E. Christiane Hohmann, Member of the European Parliament Ms. Marina Kaljurand, members of the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation was held at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Practically oriented part of the School took place in Narva-Jõesuu.

European Expert Association Director for the International Security Studies Maria Avdeeva presented the project aimed at improving digital and media literacy skills.

Resilience League School has been organized by the International Center for Defense and Security (Estonia) and the National Center for Defense and Security Awareness (Estonia) with the support of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, NATO, the German Embassy in Estonia, and the US Embassy in Estonia.
